Mallory Haney Loo Lighted Window Festival Choir accompanist, organ & piano teacher
Mallory was four years old when she took her first piano lesson in Valparaiso, Chile. A year later, she had her first piano performance. At age 12, she attended the Conservatory of Music Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile where she studied music theory and aural skills next to her college-level peers. At the same time, she began ballet and volunteered playing the pipe organ for a church.
Mallory was 16 when she decided to pursue music in the United States. She earned her Bachelors of Music at the Jacobs School of Music of Indiana University Bloomington. During this time, she served as a church musician, piano teacher, and performer. In 2023, Mallory completed her Masters of Music at the Thornton School of Music of the University of Southern California under professor Cherry Rhodes. Mallory enjoys discovering new pipe organs to play and giving concerts in different areas of the world. Currently, she is the organist/pianist of La Cañada Congregational Church and teaches music privately while completing the Graduate Certificate program at USC.
In between practice sessions, rehearsals, and performances, Mallory is an avid cyclist and has completed several long-distance events.
